This is who is behind THE ECO MAR ECOSYSTEM.
Welcome to storytime!
My name is Marina, but you can call me Mar. I’m from Brazil, but my sustainability journey started in New Zealand, where I lived for a year, in 2018. Despite already being a vegetarian and having a profound love for nature, it was in that island that I started to open my eyes to the wonders of the zero-waste lifestyle and veganism movement.
I then went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management in Greece, because apart from nature, I have also a passion for traveling, and I have wanted to combine those two passions ever since. I founded a YouTube channel in 2019 to help spread consciousness on sustainability, but just recently I have decided to take this seriously and make my mission in life to make a positive impact and change the world.
That’s why I also got an MBA in ESG, because I believe that we can make a difference by changing our lifestyle and individual daily habits, but also businesses need to change their organizational culture and apply governance and environmental principles into their strategy.
That is what THE ECO MAR is all about, learning how to change the way we are used to doing things, so we can have a chance of a sustainable future.
